Fashion Rules to Live By
To look more fashionable, you don’t need to buy expensive brands, you don’t need to jump on the latest trends and you definitely don’t need to learn complex styling techniques. Check out the following ways to be more fashionable and I should add - without breaking the bank.
1. Combine your clothes properly
No matter the price of your bag, shoes, skirts, pants, or shirts, finding the right combination is key. An easy way to do this is to wear a matching set of clothes. It could be a sweat-suit, a two-piece or a knit set then match it with a pair of footwear and accessories.
It never hurts to use hats and sunglasses too. With their basic functionalities, they make your appearance even better.
2. Wear clothes that suit you and don’t follow trends blindly.
Wearing clothes that suit you will increase your confidence and make you feel better about yourself. Not all trends are for you. Just because it looks good on one person does not necessarily mean that it will look good on you. Discover what works for you and stick to it.
Layer up, especially when it’s cold, and switch up your footwear from time to time, you would be amazed at the combinations you come up with.
3. Coordinate with colours
When you are finding it difficult to pick what to wear, wear black. Black is always in fashion and will continually be stylish.
You could also pick two or three base colours to wear and style your outfit around that. Pick accessories to match too with makeup that does not deviate from the chosen colour scheme.
Going monochrome will never go out of fashion either. Pick a colour or shades of a colour to wear and transform yourself into a style icon. It also makes picking out what to wear in the morning much easier and faster.
